questions Fixed Assets Accountant Location: Herndon, VA - Position
will be 100% in-office for training then offer a more flexible
schedule on work location Responsibilities: Fixed Assets Accountant
will focus on Fixed Assets: Looking at transactions in the general
ledger for the work in process account, look up invoice, figure out
site location and populate this information into a spreadsheet
including vendor, vendor, name of equipment, site, amount, etc.
Fixed Assets Accountant will complete reconciliations - making sure
everything has tied out that was imported. Fixed Assets Accountant
will reach out to network people to ask questions to get
information (if can't find the information from invoice or
Salesforce) Fixed Assets Accountant go by projects and invoices
associated with projects - put invoice information into a
spreadsheet, this will clear out that project from the work in
process account Invoices are in Rillion - Fixed Assets Accountant
will be trained on this software General Ledger System is iScala
(used for uploading transactions) - Fixed Assets Accountant will be
trained on this software Fixed Assets Accountant will complete ad
hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements: Understanding of
fixed assets - should understand the why behind the work they're
doing, have fixed assets and depreciation and the depreciation gets
booked each month. Accounting Degree preferred Excel - Pivot
tables, creating basic spreadsheets, formulas, importing
information Personality Fit: Eager to learn Clear written and
verbal communication skills Personable and professional Strong
attention to details Team player Comfortable in a role where the
