\n About the Role \n As an Offset Second Press Operator , you’ll
play a critical role in delivering exceptional print quality,
ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a safe, efficient
work environment. Working closely with the First Press Operator,
you’ll assist with press make-readies, equipment operation, and
quality control while providing leadership and guidance to the
press crew. This position is key to achieving productivity,
quality, and safety goals. \n \n What You’ll Do \n \n Follow all
standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. \n Verify job
specifications, including paper size, color, ink, and other
details. \n Monitor color and registration accuracy with
demonstrated proficiency. \n Inspect printed sheets and make
adjustments to correct spacing, ink distribution, and other quality
issues. \n Assist in plate changes and press adjustments as needed.
\n Re-thread paper and adjust tension rollers when web breaks
occur. \n Provide training, direction, and support to junior crew
members. \n Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
\n Contribute ideas for process improvements and collaborate with
supervisors. \n Perform additional duties as assigned. \n \n \n
Required Qualifications \n \n Ability to work irregular schedules,
including rotating day/night shifts. \n Ability to maintain close
attention to detail for extended periods. \n Strong organizational
skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. \n Ability to
work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. \n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing
priorities. \n Ability to work overtime as mandated by production
needs. \n Physical requirements: \n \n Lift 10–15 lbs continuously
and up to 50 lbs occasionally. \n Stand for long hours and use
hands/wrists in controlled movements. \n Use vision to identify
defects and follow instructions accurately. \n \n Ability to work
12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM) , including days, nights,
weekends, and overtime. \n \n \n Preferred Experience \n \n 2-3
years of previous experience operating offset presses. \n
Experience with Harris, Heidelberg, Goss, and/or Manroland Offset
Presses is preferred, but we will consider all candidates with
press experience. \n Strong understanding of press operations and
troubleshooting techniques. \n Ability to read and interpret job
orders and follow detailed instructions. \n Basic math skills
related to press operations. \n Excellent problem-solving skills
for issues like tension, ink distribution, and web breaks. \n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and mentor
team members. \n Commitment to safety and quality standards. \n \n
\n Additional Information \n The actual rate of pay offered will
vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience,
proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base
salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may
