About the role Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing, adjusting, and/or maintaining industrial production and processing machinery in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This position performs basic troubleshooting and repairs with direction and oversight. Desirable shift schedules! 12-hour workdays on 3rd shift (6:55 pm - 7 am). We work 2-3-2 rotation. Responsibilities /n - Supports a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures. /n - Supports a quality work environment by following appropriate policies and procedures. /n - Completes weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance duties on Operations machinery, equipment, and tooling per preventive maintenance (PM) procedures and as assigned /n - Documents required repairs and maintenance tasks. /n - Observes gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly. /n - Inspects equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. /n - Repairs, cleans, lubricates, or adjusts machinery to optimally maintain the equipment. /n - Disassembles, repairs, or replaces malfunctioning/broken machinery or equipment components. /n - Reassembles equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repair. /n - Examines parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage. /n - Cleans work areas using basic cleaning materials. /n /n Qualifications /n - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance /n - Must possess a high level of knowledge of machine and tooling maintenance requirements /n - Must have the ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery, tooling and equipment /n - Must have the ability to run basic machine shop equipment /n - Must have the ability to accurately use calipers, dial indicators and micrometers /n - Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Products and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Mgmt.
