Work in the field, side-by-side with experienced Project Managers, Crew Leaders, Landscape & Turf professionals to deliver exceptional client service and maintain the health and beauty of trees & landscapes on commercial properties. Enhance the appearance and value of properties through the cultivation of shrubs & trees. Plant, spray, weed, fertilize and water plants, shrubs, and trees in the landscape. Transplant seedlings, cuttings, trees, and shrubs. Maintain and repair irrigation and climate control systems. Safe operation of landscape equipment. Exposure to the daily operations and business components that power a successful Commercial Landscape office. Client service, sales, management, and leadership fundamentals WHAT WE WILL DO: Introduce career orientated students to exceptional opportunities in the green industry, providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging work environment for students to learn, develop, and employ life and job skills from Davey professionals. HOURS : 40-50 hours per week; Monday - Friday with some Saturdays SALARY: $20 - $ 23 hourly Qualifications Currently enrolled and studying Horticulture, Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Plant Science, Forestry, Arboriculture, Natural Resources or related discipline in a 2 or 4 year degree program. Driver’s license required. Commercial driver’s license a plus EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Must have enthusiasm for proper plant care and arboriculture Love of the Outdoors!
