Job Description Job Description Industrial Painter I Location: Arlington, TX (On-site) Contract: Temp-to-hire, full-time, hourly Summary: The Industrial Painter I applies industrial coatings—including rubber adhesives and epoxy paints—using conventional spray systems. This role supports production by preparing surfaces, mixing chemicals, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities: Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment Prepare, clean, and inspect surfaces Mix and properly store paints/chemicals Move and stage materials within the work area Maintain a clean, safe workspace Required Experience: 0–3 years industrial spray-painting 6 months blasting/degreasing equipment 6 months overhead crane & forklift operation Ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation Required Skills: Industrial spray-painting proficiency Paint/chemical mixing and handling Crane and forklift operation Preferred Skills: Surface prep (blasting, degreasing, sanding) Familiarity with epoxy and rubberized coatings Understanding of PPE and respirator protocols Additional Skills: Ability to lift 50 lbs Work in heat/cold and high-noise environments Company Description VIP Staffing is a regional staffing company specializing in filling temporary, temp-to-hire and permanent placement positions.
