Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
provide essential support in a school setting. This role involves
working with students who require speech and language interventions
to help them reach their full communication potential. The position
is based in Salem, VA, and offers a dynamic environment where
diverse cases enhance professional growth. This role includes some
travel, allowing for service across multiple educational locations.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and
communication disorders in students. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
support student progress. Maintain accurate records and
documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Desired Qualifications: Valid SLP certification and licensure.
Experience working in educational settings preferred. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage caseload
and travel between assigned school locations. Strong organizational
skills and flexibility to adapt to varied student needs. Location:
