year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A position is available for a skilled Sign Language
Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within a school
setting. This 1099 contract role is based in Arlington, VA,
offering the opportunity to provide essential communication support
remotely to students and staff requiring American Sign Language
interpretation. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate clear and accurate
sign language interpretation during telehealth sessions and related
school activities. Ensure effective communication accessibility for
deaf and hard-of-hearing students in virtual environments.
Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to support
student needs through interpreted services. Maintain
confidentiality and professionalism while adhering to school
policies and telehealth regulations. Qualifications and Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language with demonstrated experience
in educational settings. Previous experience interpreting in
telehealth or remote service delivery is highly desirable. Strong
understanding of Deaf culture and communication access principles.
Ability to manage technology platforms used for virtual
interpretation effectively. Excellent interpersonal and
