Job Description:
Constellation, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a
detail-oriented and experienced Sr Project Manager to join our
progressive team. This role is pivotal in managing projects that
span the areas of power generation, distribution, renewable energy
solutions, and energy efficiency initiatives. The Sr Project
Manager will lead project teams and collaborate with engineers,
business leaders, and external contractors to deliver projects on
time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. This
position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project
management expertise, and a deep commitment to sustainable energy
practices. Oversee complex energy projects from initiation to
closure ensuring they meet scope, time, budget, and quality
standards. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
for the flawless execution of projects. Develop project scopes and
objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring
technical feasibility. Ensure resource availability and allocation,
and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Measure
project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and
techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Manage the
relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Perform risk
management to minimize project risks. Establish and maintain
relationships with third parties/vendors. Create and maintain
comprehensive project documentation. Proven project management and
leadership skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office,
Microsoft Project, or similar project management software.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid
organizational skills including attention to detail and
multitasking skills. Strong understanding of the energy sector and
project management principles. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification preferred. Advanced knowledge or certifications in
energy management, renewable energy, or similar relevant field is
advantageous.
