Job Description:

The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for aiding surgeons in the operating room. OR Registered Nurses will prep the operating room and the patient for the procedure and make sure that all equipment is clean and operating properly.ResponsibilitiesOR RN responsibilities include: Assessing the well being of the patient before, during and after the procedure. Anticipate what the surgeons need and provide instruments and supplies to them during operations. Gathering and tracking all items needed for lab examinations. RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse within the past two years. Active Nursing License in good standing. Current BLS through American Heart Association. Negative Drug Screen.
