Job Description:

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - General Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have a valid state license in-hand to be considered. Certifications: Registered in Ultrasound by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in abdomen or OB-GYN. Must-Have: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through RDMS required. Description: Schedule requirements include 5x8 hours Monday to Friday. Candidate will rotate between outpatient and hospital locations. Weekend and holiday rotations may be needed but are not likely. On-call rotation may occur with a 30-minute response required. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit. If clinically approved and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for a final decision. The manager will conduct interviews. Candidates must have significant vascular experience and the ability to scan high-level vascular work. Examples of high-level vascular work include hemodialysis access mappings, venous insufficiency exams, and arterial exams following intervention. Additional information: Candidates may be required to care for COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons. Flu vaccination is also required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons. Applicants must have EPIC experience. Candidates must be prepared for potential floating as needed. Maximum 7 days of RTO (requested time off) allowed. Each module is billable and generally takes 5-6 hours to complete prior to the start.
