This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ER nurses seeking Maryland travel nursing jobs and professional growth in a supportive, suburban community./n /n/nEstimated Weekly Salary/n /n - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,570 - $1,680/n /n/nTravel Nursing Job Details/n /n - Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment/n - Location: Olney, Maryland (20832) – Montgomery County/n - Facility Type: Magnet Certified, Short-Term Acute Care Hospital/n - Unit: Emergency Room (ER)/n - Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/7/2025 – End: 1/6/2026)/n - Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)/n - Total Hours: 36 hours per week/n - Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend & every other holiday required/n - Patient Ratio: 1:4/n - Charting System: Cerner/n - Scrub Color: Navy Blue/n /n/nER RN Qualifications/n /n - Active compact or Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license/n - Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience/n - At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required/n - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (Required); TNCC, ENCP (Preferred)/n - Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system/n - Skills: Procedural sedation administration (required); ventilated patient care, triage, charge nurse experience (preferred)/n - Two supervisor references required/n - Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)/n /n/nER Nurse Responsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER (average 90 visits/day)/n - Administer emergency medications and blood products/n - Perform procedural sedation and manage central lines/n - Initiate IVs, triage patients, and care for ventilated patients/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, and social services/n - Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner/n - Adhere to isolation precautions and hospital protocols/n /n/n /n Ready to take your ER nursing career to the next level?
