Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,570 - $1,680 Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment Location: Olney, Maryland (20832) – Montgomery County Facility Type: Magnet Certified, Short-Term Acute Care Hospital Unit: Emergency Room (ER) Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/7/2025 – End: 1/6/2026) Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Total Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend & every other holiday required Patient Ratio: 1:4 Charting System: Cerner Scrub Color: Navy Blue ER RN Qualifications Active compact or Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (Required); TNCC, ENCP (Preferred) Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system Skills: Procedural sedation administration (required); ventilated patient care, triage, charge nurse experience (preferred) Two supervisor references required Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER (average 90 visits/day) Administer emergency medications and blood products Perform procedural sedation and manage central lines Initiate IVs, triage patients, and care for ventilated patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, and social services Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner Adhere to isolation precautions and hospital protocols Ready to take your ER nursing career to the next level?
