Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) Rockville Internal Medicine Group is a respected and well-established practice that has been serving the Rockville community for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive atmosphere for both our staff and our patients. Location: Olney, MD Schedule This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Please note: We are not considering alternative or part-time schedules at this time. Scope of Practice & Responsibilities Manage a patient panel consisting of individuals aged 18 and older. Providing comprehensive primary medical care, including physical examinations, preventative screenings, and wellness counseling. Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses. Ordering, interpreting, and following up on diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging). Developing and implementing evidence-based patient treatment plans. Coordinating care with specialists and other healthcare professionals. Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR). Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years of residency completion) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Currently Licensed in Maryland or demonstrate a willingness and ability to obtain a Maryland medical license.
