Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Arlington, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of RN experience required License: Active VA or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong cardiac telemetry/stepdown nurse experience. Experience managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias. Experience working with cardiovascular surgery patients and telemetry. Description: Seeking a strong cardiac telemetry/stepdown nurse. Experience required in managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias. The unit is responsible for cardiac surgery patients after intensive care. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required. ASAP start depends on EPIC experience and training schedule. All candidates must have an active Virginia license at the time of submission. The flu vaccine is mandatory during flu season. A statement of EPIC experience is required for training class determination. Adjustments in RTO (Requested Time Off) must be kept minimal and communicated upfront. Travelers should be prepared to work some holidays. Preference may be given to those with previous charge experience.
