Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Olney, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM /n• Schedule: 3 shifts per week (3x12) /n• ASAP start required /n• 2 years of nursing experience required /n• Travel experience required /n• BLS certification required /n• Care for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics /n• Daily census of approximately 25 OR cases /n• Work in 7 operating rooms /n• Required skills include arthroscopy, arthrotomy, carpal tunnel release, closed and open reduction of fractures, laminectomy/discectomy, total joint replacement, laparoscopic assisted cases, general OR procedures, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repairs, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, code response, fire safety, infection control, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol procedures /n• Must have either compact license or MD license at time of submission /n• Two supervisor references required /n• Manager interviews not guaranteed - must be comfortable proceeding without interview /n• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract /n• Complete labs and drug screen appointment within 48 hours of signing /n• One pre-approved time off allowed (maximum 7 days per 13-week contract) /n• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare system that provides advanced surgical services with state-of-the-art operating room facilities.
