Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Washington, DC Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,280 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position About the Position Specialty: RN – Pre-Operative (Pre-Op) Experience: 1–2 years of recent pre-op or perioperative nursing experience preferred License: Active State or Compact RN License Certifications: BLS – AHA; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong assessment skills, ability to educate patients before procedures, and effective communication with surgical teams Description: The Pre-Op RN is responsible for preparing patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, verifying pre-surgical instructions, initiating IVs, administering medications, and coordinating with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and readiness. Requirements Required for Onboarding: Active RN License BLS ACLS(preferred)
