Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift/n/n Job Description/n The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, and actively participates in patient care and rehabilitation programs. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission. /n - Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and develop individualized plans of care. /n - Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, ensuring prioritization of education for patients and significant others. /n - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record. /n - Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and begin patient teaching accordingly. /n - Communicate changes in patient status to involved care providers to support continuity of care. /n - Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks as needed. /n - Contribute to a safe patient care environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures. /n - Assume charge responsibilities as needed after orientation. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS Certification required prior to first shift. /n - ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (if applicable). /n - Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience required. /n - ICU experience preferred. /n /n/nSchedule/n This position operates on a day shift schedule, typically three 12-hour shifts. /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
