Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A registered nurse with operating room experience is needed for a contract position based in Salem, OR. This role involves circulating duties in the OR with occasional floating to other units as needed, supporting patient care in a short-term acute care setting with a Level IV Trauma Center designation. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN license with operating room experience Ability to perform circulating duties; ability to scrub is a plus but not required Flexibility to float between units based on medical center needs Reliable personal vehicle is a must due to assignment requirements Experience with 1:1 patient ratios in the OR environment Schedule/Hours: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 AM to 05:00 PM) On-call required: one weekend every 56 weeks and one night every week No block schedules Responsibilities: Provide circulating nurse support in the operating room Adapt to floating between units including other regional facilities as necessary Comply with hospital protocols, including Epic charting Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care Additional Details: Parking is provided at no cost Scrub colors flexible, supporting personal preference May be asked to float to regional units including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent Special incentives and accommodations provided for floating to Seaside facility This contract opportunity is ideal for an RN ready to provide critical OR support in a dynamic care environment with a reputable medical center.
