As a float pool tech, you will engage in a broad range of surgical procedures, ensuring operational excellence and fostering an environment of safety and efficiency. This role requires adaptability and the willingness to work in multiple locations to meet our facilities' shifting needs. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, nurses, or other surgical personnel. Ensure that all surgical tools and instruments are properly sterilized and assembled before surgery. Set up surgical equipment and assist team members in their use. Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and disinfecting incision sites. Provide technical assistance to surgeons, surgical nurses, or anesthesiologists. Adapt quickly to different teams and practices in multiple facilities within the network. Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures. Proficiency in the use of surgical tools and instruments. Strong understanding of sterilization and aseptic techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. High level of dexterity and coordination. Ability to rapidly adapt to new environments and changes in routine. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
