Join PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital rehabilitation, as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Our dedicated team focuses on providing personalized, intensive rehabilitation treatments to help patients regain independence following surgery, injury, or illness. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will support our Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality care and therapy regimes, participate in patient assessments, and contribute to treatment planning and implementation, all while ensuring the comfort and progress of each patient. Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of rehabilitation treatments and exercises. Participate in patient evaluations and contribute to the creation and ongoing adjustment of care plans. Document patient progress and assist with the update of treatment plans. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, exercises, and continuing care. Ensure treatment areas are prepared prior to each session including equipment setup. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and principles applicable to both orthopedic and neurological conditions Ability to handle physical demands of the job Proficient in documentation and patient management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant CPR certified
