Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/07/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend required • Every other holiday required • Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 12 hours of orientation provided • Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENCP • 2 years of experience required • General emergency department adult/pediatric experience required • Cerner charting system experience required • First-time travelers accepted with strong Cerner experience • Previous charge experience preferred • Skills include blood product administration, central line care/management, care of ventilated patients, triage, starting and maintaining IVs, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, isolation precautions/PPE • Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics • Handle daily census of approximately 90 patients with 90 visits per day • Work in 39-room emergency department with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, transportation, and unit secretary Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department providing 24/7 emergency care services.
