Nurse Practitioner | Urgent Care Location: Hanover, PA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care • Job Type: Full-Time Locum Tenens • Location: Hanover, PA • Service Setting: Outpatient – Urgent Care • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Start Date: October 1, 2025 • Coverage Period: Ongoing – End Date Unknown • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Shifts per Month: Approx. 12 • Practice Model: Solo Provider (remote physician available for escalation) • Telemedicine: Physician available remotely for support • EMR: Epic PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: All ages • Patient Volume: 3–4 patients per hour • Case Mix: Cold/flu, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, splinting • Procedures: Orthopedic splinting, wound care • Acuity Level: Low – High acuity referred to ER FACILITY INFORMATION • Reason for Coverage: Team Growth • Support Staff: Medical Assistants and Radiology Techs on-site • Staffing: 1–3 providers per day • Remote Physician: Available for escalation JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active PA NP License required • Board Status: Board Certified • DEA: Required • Certifications: ACLS, BLS • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Urgent Care or 1 year in Emergency Medicine • Skills: Comfortable with all ages, wound care, orthopedic procedures (splinting) TRAVEL & COMPENSATION • Travel Reimbursement: Airfare, lodging, rental car, mileage, parking PRIVILEGING • Privileges: Full & Temporary available • Time to Privilege: Approx. 90 days
