Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,430 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required Cardiac Tele experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district is required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required NIHSS required BSN is highly desired Must-Have: Must reside 50 miles away Experience with frequent IV drips including Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex is necessary Description: We are a cardiac-focused stepdown unit with 48 beds. The unit includes 4 pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds (travelers are not required to take these). Frequent diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and vascular surgery. Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical skills.
