total for the duration of the program(equivalent to approximately
$19.05/hour. This does not include lodging or transportation) Hours

team supports UNCF’s mission by driving talent management, employee
engagement, and workforce development initiatives across the
organization. The team partners closely with Organizational
Development, Benefits, and Communications to ensure Team Members
are informed, engaged, and supported throughout their employee
experience. Through strategic initiatives and innovative
programming, the HR Talent team helps foster a collaborative,
inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. Department
Overview: The Human Resources Talent team supports UNCF’s mission

culture. ABOUT UNCF The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) has been

first-generation students. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Support the HR Talent team with day-to-day operations and special
projects. Serve as a key contributor to the content development and
ongoing sustainability of the UNCF HR Newsletter. Assist with
creating and maintaining a framework for newsletter content,
timelines, and distribution. Support the development of a
communications plan for the organization-wide rollout of the HR
Newsletter. Collaborate with HR Talent and Organizational
Development teams to ensure alignment between HR communications and
learning initiatives. Assist with LMS-related projects, including
content development, editing, and organization of learning
materials. Draft, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy,
clarity, and consistency. Contribute creative ideas to enhance
engagement through visual, written, and multimedia content.
Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project
reviews with cross-functional teams. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE Currently enrolled in an accredited college or
university program (Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Digital
Media, Communications, Education, or a related field). Minimum
cumulative GPA of 2.5 Demonstrated experience with video editing
software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, Final Cut Pro) for
creating e-learning video content. Proficiency with graphic design
software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Canva,
Illustrator, InDesign) for designing compelling visuals for
e-learning modules. Ability to script concise and effective content
for videos and digital learning modules. A strong portfolio
showcasing your video editing and graphic design skills for digital
learning or similar projects. Experience with e-learning authoring
tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360) is a
significant plus. Availability to work onsite during our core hours
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Availability for occasional
evenings and weekends event(s). LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES In addition
to the newsletter project, the intern will have opportunities to
collaborate with the Organizational Development team on initiatives
related to UNCF’s Learning Management System (LMS), including
content development and internal communications. This role is ideal
for a student interested in HR, communications, and creative
content development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
