Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing, is
looking for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to lead our
Data Center Planning and Delivery projects. This role involves
strategic project management at the core of our global
infrastructure operations, driving both the development and
enhancements of our data center facilities. Candidates will oversee
large-scale projects from planning through to execution and
sustainment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, while
optimizing cost and ensuring the highest standards of security.
Plan, initiate, and manage infrastructure projects aimed at the
expansion and efficient running of AWS data centers. Coordinate
with multiple stakeholders to ensure project components are
actioned upon timely and to specification. Monitor project progress
continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable
items, such as milestones and deliverables. Communicate proactively
with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify
problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
Assess risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate. Oversee
budgeting, forecasting, and administration. Strong understanding of
technical infrastructure and data center operations. Proven ability
to manage large-scale infrastructure projects. Expertise in project
management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams. Excellent
communication and stakeholder management skills. Medical Insurance

Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or higher.
