The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping our strategic objectives and will ensure that our IT endeavors align with the broader strategic goals of national security enhancements. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals in executing complex projects that secure and modernize the essential tech frameworks defending our nation's interests. Develop and implement strategic technology plans that align with our national security missions. Lead, manage and develop an IT department that is responsive to evolving national defense needs. Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are integrated within all technology projects. Collaborate with key stakeholders across federal agencies to align technology with broader strategic initiatives. Oversee the fiscal management of the department's budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources. Promote innovation in technology to maintain our edge in national defense capabilities. Strategic planning and execution in IT contexts Strong leadership and team management Experience with cybersecurity and information assurance Superb collaboration and communication abilities Proficient in managing large-scale IT projects Understanding of current and emerging IT trends PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
