Western Door Federal, LLC is seeking attorneys with experience in
government-established claim processing policies, procedures and
methodologies in the Washington, DC area to support our Department
of Education customer. The objective of this work is to assist in
the adjudication of student loan borrower claims pursuant to the
Sweet v. McMahon settlement agreement. Responsibilities include,
but are not limited to : Perform review of claims for completeness
and accuracy, determining if additional information is needed Apply
government-established methodologies and personal judgement to
perform substantive review of claims If claim is eligible for
relief, recommend that the claim be approved If claim is ineligible
for relief, draft a decision letter to the borrower Perform quality
check of all work products Basic Qualifications: Graduate of an
ABA-accredited law school A member of the bar authorized to
practice law in any jurisdiction in the U.S. in good standing 15
years of experience practicing law Ability to communicate clearly
orally and in writing Will be required to submit a writing sample
of original work at least 5 pages in length Ability to obtain a
