Job Description:
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Assigns pick locations
accurately as necessary. Determines location pick slots for
optimization. Performs functions of the DC allocation process
efficiently. Reconciles Receiving documents to accounting reports,
accurately. Verifies inventory locations accurately and resolves
issues for the following areas: Bust-out, stock decks, pick slots,
cycle counts, problem pallet, transfers, etc… Performs data entries
and updates reports accurately. Verifies and releases breakdowns
accurately. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Completes the daily P.I.T. checklist to ensure equipment is working
properly and reports any defects to management and/or maintenance.
Operates P.I.T. equipment in a safe manner. Follows set safety
procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety. Maintains an
organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within
the Inventory Control department. Follows all Company policies and
procedures. All other duties as assigned. Position Requirements
Education: High school preferred. Experience : Four to six months
clerical or similar work experience in a Retail Distribution or
Warehouse environment is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate
basic Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows. Working knowledge of WMS
preferred. Physical Requirements : Able to perform essential
functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
These tasks require the ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds,
occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and rarely up to 50 pounds. The
Team Member should have adequate fitness level to meet the demands
of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing of
stairs, occasional sitting, stooping and kneeling with or without
reasonable accommodation. May be required to operate P.I.T.
equipment that raises the Team Member on a platform to heights of
up to 50 feet. Team Member will be required to use Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.
Working Conditions: Team Member will work in a climate controlled
(office) atmosphere; however there may be frequent exposure to the
Distribution Center (non-climate controlled). Team Member may also
be exposed to moving mechanical parts or equipment, fumes and
airborne particles as regulated by OSHA. Availability : Team Member
will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime,
