Job Description The Heat Press Operator is a key member of our
production team, responsible for accurately and efficiently
operating heat press machinery to apply designs onto various
apparel items. This role requires attention to detail, strong
spatial judgment, and a commitment to producing high-quality
finished goods. The Heat Press Operator also plays an active role
in peer-to-peer quality checks, ensuring the overall excellence of
our products. At times, cross-assistance in other areas may be
required to complete daily goals. Responsibilities Receive
pre-batched orders from the production lead, ensuring all
components are present and accounted for. Accurately and quickly
load garments onto heat press platens, ensuring they are straight,
even, and properly positioned for pressing. Precisely place the
material application onto the garment according to job order
specifications and required standards, ensuring correct orientation
and alignment. Operate heat press machinery safely and efficiently
to apply designs, adhering to specific time, temperature, and
pressure settings for various materials. Perform thorough quality
checks on pressed garments, inspecting for any imperfections,
misalignments, or defects in the application. Actively participate
in peer-to-peer quality verification, checking and verifying the
work of fellow Heat Press Operators to ensure consistent quality
across all products. Communicate any discrepancies, defects, or
issues to the Team Lead promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and
safe work area throughout the workday, adhering to all company
cleanliness and safety standards. Utilize measuring tools (e.g.,
rulers) to ensure precise placement of applications when necessary.
Apply strong eye judgment to determine correct application
placement and garment loading. Essential Skills Demonstrated strong
attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow
verbal and written instructions accurately. Ability to work at a
consistent and steady pace. Strong collaborative spirit and ability
to work effectively in a team. Ability to stand for extended

Work Environment Work in a global company that manufactures and
distributes materials and solutions for branding, packaging, and
identification. The shift runs Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30
pm. Enjoy a casual dress code that allows jeans, slacks, t-shirts,
sweatshirts, and hoodies, with the requirement of steel-toed boots
or sneakers. Please ensure no baggy clothing or loose/hanging
jewelry is worn for safety reasons. Job Type & Location This is a
Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, NY. Pay and
Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
