Client DetailsOur client is a reputable, family-owned General Contractor based out of Maryland. The projects they complete are typically corporate interiors, SCIF, and healthcare. While the majority of their work is in DC, MD & VA, they have an increasing pipeline of work outside of the Mid-Atlantic. They are currently looking for a Superintendent with SCIF experience who is open to traveling temporarily before being brought back to the DMV for future projects. DescriptionThe Traveling Superintendent - SCIF Projects - CA, CO, LA will be responsible for:

• supervising the daily construction activities and quality control of all subcontractors.
• supervising the coordination of field efforts between trades to achieve a timely and profitable completion in strict accordance with contract documents and specifications, law and safety requirements.
• effectively communicating relevant project information to superiors.
• attending weekly subcontractor and owner/architect meetings.
• monitoring site safety protocols.
• tracking manpower and completing daily reports.
• assisting with quality control oversight.
• assisting with field office document control.
• assisting with creating look-ahead schedules.
• monitoring and tracking site deliveries.
• verifying all materials, equipment, and installation are in compliance with approved submittals and contract documents
• working in partnership with PM to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the projectProfileThe Traveling Superintendent - SCIF Projects - CA, CO, LA will have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent
  • SCIF project experience required
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • strong organizational skillsJob OfferThe Traveling Superintendent - SCIF Projects - CA, CO, LA will receive:
    • a strong base salary commensurate with experience
    • per diem
    • travel paid for (to and from home)
