If you have 3 years plus in private practice or a business setting and are excited to grow your career in contracts, negotiation, and dispute resolution, we want you. Join us full-time at our Corporate Offices in Henderson.The Role

• Drafting and administration of contracts and legal documentation.
• Review of tender documentation and identification of contract risks.
• Review Head Contracts using CRA and issue commercial clarifications.
• Prepare and managing securities and insurances in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies.
• Conducting and co-ordinating commercial and legal negotiations with Principals
• Assist in drafting of strategic pre-contracts agreements.
• Assist in identifying, briefing, and engaging specialist external legal services as required.
• Reviewing contractual commitments and interpretation of rights and obligations made under contracts by the business.
• Liaising with company procurement, risk management and audit personnel.
• Provide advice regarding contracting, project and risk management across the business.
• Provide advice and input to internal estimating team on insurance and tender risks.
• Support the Pre Contracts Manager in providing legal advice across the business to management and executives for contractual issues.About YouTo be successful in the role you will possess the following:
  • University degree in Australian Law
  • Minimum 3 years' Post admission experience in private practice or in-house
  • Experience in Australian construction law
  • Relevant experience in the heavy engineering and construction industry,
  • Good understanding of construction contract and risk allocation program(s) including critical path, float and delay analysis.
