At BJ's Wholesale Club, a leader in the wholesale retail sector, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy warehouse store locations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of customer service and operational efficiency that our members expect. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations, ensuring seamless functionality, superb customer interaction, and effective team management. Assist the Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g., sales processes, orders, and payments) Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best Monitor and maintain store inventory Handle complaints from customers Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer needs, and profits Undertake staff performance reviews Organize and oversee in-store promotional events or displays Strong leadership and customer management abilities Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in Sales or Marketing preferred Certification in Retail Management is advantageous
