transforming your career. Business Performance Manager What you
will do Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you
will be assigned as the Project Manager on one or more
transformation initiatives related to end-to-end processes spanning
Operations, R&D, Commercial, and/or Corporate functions. The
Results Delivery Office (RDO) drives transformation and builds
critical capabilities that enable Amgen to respond to rapid
advancements in science and technology within a rapidly changing
business environment. We are looking for a Business Performance
Manager to join our team of leaders and liaisons, working on these
high priority initiatives that drive value through simplification
of Amgens largest, cross-functional, end-to-end processes. This
individual will be responsible for centralized team operations,
including centralized team and meeting management, metrics mapping
and tracking, and creation of senior communications. The ideal
candidate will have some experience in R&D scientific and
operational subject matter, including the ability to interface with
and synthesize inputs from cross-functional subject matter experts,
often in highly technical fields. Initial project work will focus
on R&D operational transformation, with the opportunity to flex
across the Amgen enterprise in the future. Support the Lead and
Liaison to deliver on initiative ambition Create and manage the
integrated schedule for initiatives and workstreams Track progress
towards delivery of key project deliverables, escalate issues, and
assist with problem solving in relation to the schedule and
resource requirements Support definition and management of resource
requirements for the overall initiative and workstreams Identify
and share Project Management best practices and contribute to the
continued evolution of Project Management tools and practices
Manage team meetings and track decisions and action items; support
problem solving for delivery of action items as needed Support
workshops and other project activities as needed What we expect of

with these qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree
OR Masters degree and 2 years of Scientific and/or Operations
and/or Business (i.e., Management Consulting) experience OR
Bachelors degree and 4 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or
Business (i.e., Management Consulting) experience OR Associates
degree and 8 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business
(i.e., Management Consulting) experience OR High school diploma /
GED and 10 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business
(i.e., Management Consulting) Preferred Qualifications:
Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical industry experience (preferred) or
other sectors of healthcare industry Technical degree in
biotechnology/engineering/biological sciences or related field
Proficiency with project management tools, methodologies and
practices Project Management experience for large, cross functional
initiatives Experience working in fast-changing and often ambiguous

range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not
limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In
